Veggie Burgers in the Raw

A gluten, yeast, & dairy free recipe especially for sufferers
of gluten sensitivity, Candida albicans yeast, gas, heartburn,
digestive upsets, nausea, indigestion, food allergies and
various other health problems.
Raw Food Ingredients
1 red onion
1red bell pepper
1carrot
2 zucchini
1 cup spinach
1 cup parsley
¼ cup basil
3 cloves garlic
½ cup sunflower seeds rinsed and soaked for 5 hours (rinse after 2 hours and 5 hours of soaking)
½ cup freshly ground flax seeds
1 tsp. cumin powder
¼ tsp. turmeric powder
1/8 tsp. sea salt
Processing of Ingredients
Blend all ingredients in a food processor.
Form into ½ inch thick patties
Place on a cookie sheet lined with unbleached parchment paper.
Dehydrate a 105° F for 4 hours, flip burgers and continue to dehydrate for additional 4 hours
Check burger consistency: If “chewier” burger is desired, continue to dehydrate for an additional one to three hours.
Note1: If cooked burger is preferable to raw burger, bake at 375° F for 15 minutes or grill.
Serve with sliced lettuce / sprouts, tomato, and onion.
